Academic History
Work Ethic
I embrace the definition of working hard. After a long day at the barn, you can often find me pouring over notecards for a morning AP test. Because of my busy schedule, I’ve created valuable organizational and time management habits.
College Credit
Throughout my high school experience, I’ve taken as many accelerated courses as possible so I could get college credit including English, Humanities, Sociology, and World History. I believe these have prepared me for the rigorous demands of balancing college with riding.
AP Classes
I consider myself to be a science/math and reading/writing kind of person. I have taken and excelled at AP Chemistry, AP Calculus, AP Biology, AP English Seminar, and plan to finish my senior year up by taking AP Statistics and AP Psychology. Doing well on past AP tests allows me to go into college with several credit hours.
Did you know I’ve moved 5 times in the last 8 years?
Changing schools and moving states hasn’t been the easiest thing, especially when I entered high school. It’s made adjusting to new schools and social circles a challenge. Yet, I’ve worked hard to not let it affect my academic or riding career and have remained positive when facing new challenges and opportunities. In the end, having to adapt to such life changes has better prepared me for what I know will be somewhat of a transition as I move from high school student to college student.
